Guncle Bobby

Bobby took this photo for me late last summer when he was babysitting.  How much my kids adore their Uncle shouldn't go unmentioned.  Adam is actually sleeping on his shoulder here, which is why he sent it...it was SO shocking!  He loves them so much and they know it.  While I was student teaching, he took them outside almost every day, watched their movies and PBS all the time and helped them build block towers.  He cooked them french toast and pancakes and cut the crusts off their grilled cheese.  He never missed a day and was late only once, which he felt awful about.  He told me that they are next best thing to having his own and that they taught him that there were things in life worth looking ahead for.   And it's awesome that my kids have a male relative in their life who cares for them as they lost both their grandfathers too early.  Adam talks to him on the phone "Guncle Bobby!!!" he says.  Cute.
