My Baby Sister Gets Hitched...Last August 22...Reception

It has been hanging over my head for months that I never wrote the blog for my sister's wedding. This is not all the photos...just the ones I took at the reception. Maybe I'll still do another post. I was pretty proud of my portraits and it turns out I did the best ones, according to Sarah. I would have done more, but I had mistakenly believed that the friend taking the photos was a professional and didn't want to step on her toes.. It was a nice day...perfect beach wedding, if not windy. Missed my family A LOT. Was exhausted as I had been up since 3am to fly there, was weeping as my brother walked Sarah down the aisle. Jamison with Jeff's sister. It took my a few shots to capture the lighting right, but I loved this photo. He even let me hold him by the end of the night, which really made my day.
I asked Sarah and Jeff to pose for this while they were dancing. This was what I got!

I was exhausted, but Sarah had asked us all multiple times to go out for a drink. Not surprisingly, she changed her mind at the end of the night. I walked her up to her suite and said my good-byes. Bobby went out with some girls and I went back to the room, almost midnight. I was so tired and it took a long time to shampoo the hairspray out of my hair. I slept a little restless, with Bobby coming in pretty late after a few cocktails. He slept in the back room on the couch, ready to take me to the airport at 9am. The room was pretty cool with the two areas and a beach view. The planes home were delayed due to earthquakes (!!) and I was ready to be back home!
