Easter Part One

 Easter is a great excuse to dress my kids up and get cute pictures.  I had piutfits picked out, but my free-spirited kids had other ideas....I had a patel pink dress and a matching pink striped shirt for him to go under his sweater dress.  But when Abbey saw this dress on my arm, she wanted it ON.  It's a bit big, but the girl has test.  And Adam refused the pink striped shirt.  Seriously.  I offered him that one or this white one and he grabbed the white one and ran.  Funny from a kid who likes princess shoes.  Love little Abbey sitting right on the porch and love Adam taking his sister by the hand.

Then Abbey decided she wanted to be free :)

I directed the kids to the flowers, hoping to get some nice spring shots.  The sun was in a bad spot for photos, but hey, it's Easter and they're toddlers.

As always, Abbey made a break for it down the back of the house.  At least now when she gets yelled at, she comes back before she reaches the front of the house.

She's a little but Alive in Wonderland in this dress to me.

And she takes off again.  And Adam, who is usually so good, can't help himself when he sees her sometimes and has to be bad, too.  This picture is so cute because they are running to each other.

They do have fun together!

Then Adam picked two flowers.  Hard to be mad because then, all on his own, he handed one to me and one to Abbey.  What a sweetheart.  Mommy's heart melted.

It was chilly and as Adam went to the door to go back inside, Abbey took off down the sidewalk. Sigh.  I had to YELL to get her back.  Oh, yes, the Butlers are home!
