Abbey's First Stand (Kind of) & Adam isn't Letting Anyone Pick on His Sister

I was sitting in the living room with Adam watching Kung Fu Panda before his nap and Abbey started going off. She loves crawling around and she was in the dining room playing with all the toys Adam had left everywhere. I walked in there and she was trapped. She is 6 months old and she was under the table using the bottom of the chair to stand up. We had noticed earlier in the week that she had been trying, but she was half doing it! She was hunched over, trapped by the seat of the chair. Right now as I type this sitting in the living room, Abbey's little face is grinning up at me as she tries to pull herself up on this chair!! I think she's going to be a little peanut running around!!

On another note...a couple of days ago I brought Abbey upstairs to see Orrie with me and Adam...I usually don't because he goes into attack mode when he sees her. (He used to with Adam until it became clear he couldn't scare him). I walked into the bedroom and put her down so I could close him in his cage with her far away. He still managed to yell at the top of his lungs at her...her whole face crumpled and she burst into tears. Adam went over and patted the air near her and then went up to Orrie and started "scolding" him...waving his arms around with a ticked off voice. Made my heart smile as I saw how protective of her!! So even though he stole her trucks from her this morning while I was in the kitchen, I know he'd never let anyone else!!!
