For Father's Day, Todd wanted to go back to the Seneca Park Zoo in Rochester since everyone had such a good time. We took Bobby with us and headed back. It was my first go around with my new lens, so I had some experimenting. Bird room.
Hi Turtle!
MONKEYS! Adam asked if they would poop again. They didn't, but one peed right in front of him. he was thrilled.
Checking out the sloths...SID!! (from Ice Age).
Back to Buck Wild. It was cute because he remembered what was coming around each corner and would get excited.
It was pretty hot that day. We brought the double stroller this time because Adam had wanted to sit in Abbey's stroller, but he wouldn't sit in it once.
But was happy to let Uncle Bobby hold him to get a closer look at the rhinoceroses.
YEAH! Playground!
Abbey scaled this thing in 30 seconds.
Abbey turtly.
OW! Prickly! It's a cactus Mom! (his favorite episode of Sesame street involves a prickly cactus Big Bird sleeps with).
We sent Uncle Bobby in with the kids to see the Snow Leopard tunnel. It was made for kids.
Hi Adam!
Todd wanted a photo with him and Adam and the polar bears but Adam kept talking to them :)
Cute. This is in the room that has both an underwater viewing of the polar bears and the sea lions, which Adam couldn't wait to see. And was waiting to see if they would poop again.
Hey Mom! It's a Lion! ALEX THE LION the King of NEW YORK! (Madagascar).
There is a tour bus display in the new Africa area which Adam didn't get to go into the first time. Uncle Bobby took him up.
Elephants....or as Adam called them Manny and Ellie (Ice Age).
Long before we got there, Adam was looking for "Skipper".
First look at the tiger in two visits.
Wolves. Uncle Bobby taught Adam how to howl. Pretty cute.
We wanted to go back to the Red Robin on the way home, but they wouldn't seat us with a high chair at a booth and they had no highchair ready tables available. Seriously? We were pretty disgusted...this is RED ROBIN for goodness sake. So we went over to Pizzeria Uno and really liked it. Both kids ate their entire little pizzas and we enjoyed our deep dish. It was a nice day and glad Uncle Bobby could join us.
