There is a super tall slide that Adam managed to climb to the top of the fort to get to and then I started hearing "MOM-my", but I couldn't see him. There he was at the top, not interested in sliding down and unable to climb back down. Sigh. I was ready to grab Abbey and start working my way up one way or another, but a women offered her 5 year old grandson's assistance. This little boy walked down and Adam stayed to the toddler side with Abbey. Thank goodness for the help! I knew they wouldn't want to leave, but I convinced them both to half cooperate. We went back last week and you could say...Adam lost his fear. Coming soon.

First Trip to McDonald's Playland
A few weeks ago my friend Erin came over to cut Adam's hair and invited us to join her and her 4 kids at McDonald's. We had never been to the fancy new MickeyD's here in Oswego and I decided to take her up on the offer after my kids heard her and went to put their shoes on. We got there and Adam was at home with the kids sitting in the booth that has a video touch screen! We got our meals and the kids could immediately tell something was up as they got glimpses of the play area. They took off for it when they got down. Unfortunately, Erin's kids got kicked out because they didn't have socks but the A-team was so excited, I couldn't pull them out. I braved it on my own. This is the toddler area and is there any question, even in this crummy cell phone photo, that Abbey loved it???

The girls beg to go all the time. Yeah, they are more likely to get sick being in an indoor playground with a bunch of other kids...but when they get old enough to see you pass by McDonald's, know the park is inside, and beg you to go....it is tough to say no.
