We went to lunch at a place I think is called The Blue Heron as the only other place in town, a pizza place, was closed. We sat outside, which was deserted when we got there. Adam started asking for his dinosaurs and I went to the car and got them....here he is having a grand old time :)

Chaumont Take 2
Since the first day rained out and Pam was without Katie at the cottage for the first time EVER, I took them back that Thursday. They got out of the cars and obviously felt at home, Abbey right away tried to take off down the road like she had two day earlier *sigh*. It was a great day out and the kids ran all over, Adam having a day obsessed with his bucket of dragons, they were everywhere. We walked them into the lake and Abbey, of course had to be taken out kicking and screaming....and she was mad we didn't just let her roam all over the slippery rocks, of course!

Abbey was NOT happy that I left and she ended having a bottle when I came back. One of those lunches when Abbey was NOT in the mood. The great thing about having toddlers, most people will take your order quickly, especially if one has been yelling :) She ate little, Adam ate his fries and turned his tenders into dinosaurs. When we got back, Abbey forgot she was in a bad mood and they both ran around again. Here's Adam collecting his dinosaurs which he had put all over a drainage ditch :)
Not a sunny day, but love this view!!
Abbey excited every time a dog came near her!
She was dancing around and then got a great idea.
She started riding one of the overturned Kayaks like it was a bouncy horse....
Love these photos of her but she looks way too much like a big girl....!
I know, at least she was using her imagination!
Adam decided he had to join in, too. But he was actually more interested in his dragons.
Almost looking at the camera.
Then he was like screw this I'm going to running around and have some fun :) There's Pam's husband in the background.
And of course, Abbey joined him. I think she looks pretty cute here :)
Another great memory at Chaumont! And glad I got to spend a second day with Pam...she lives in Buffalo and between her family and work and mine, it can be hard to get that chance!!!
