Yesterday, our Eleanor turned eight months old. I can't believe my baby is growing up so fast! She has such a heart melting smile. I tried to get her monthly monkey photo and she refused to sit still. She was actually posing for my camera! She loves to laugh and stick her tongue out.
She loves to be tickled and messed with. And she ALWAYS smiles for her brother and her Daddy. She can't sit up more than a few seconds and when she falls over on the pillows, she laughs.
But she crawls like a fiend! Even over the hump of the bottom of the gate. She wants to be free all the time, becoming quickly impatient with her jumpy. She does have a bit more patience for her high chair.
She's tiny. Not even 13 pounds! She is finally drinking from her bottle... Which is good because her patience with nursing grew thin a couple of months ago... I can only really get her to nurse alone in the quiet. She doesn't want to miss anything!
She loves music and LOVES Rock of Ages, especially the songs Tom Cruise sings. She was even head banging last week! She calms down for The Sopranos theme song, She heard it enough!
She is getting attached to me. She cries when I leave, but recovers after a minute. Her cry is still so pathetic.
Ellie has her sights set on Abbey's toys already. She will bypass her baby toys and crawl right over to Abbey's. Holding her always makes me feel good.
