Bathroom Repair

Our bathroom I love that we did last March and April had water damage less than two months after the fact along the molding in front of the tub. I didn't take a before photo, this photo is around the corner of a spot that needs to be fixed still and it was MUCH worse than this. When the guy who did it came by to install the backsplash (which he left glue on that, too), he told me that it was because he didn't prime it....that crown molding isn't usually put in front of a tub and he didn't think to. He didn't see too concerned. I suppose he felt he'd spent long enough in our house. He did a basic good job, but it was clear after he was gone that the detail work isn't his forte I guess. I asked Bpbby to fix this and the caulk around the tub that was sloppy and popped out. It was pretty bad and he did a decent job cleaning it up... The tub looks a lot better, too though I guess two days drying time wasn't quite enough because it crumbled a little on the side *sigh* I guess I have to keep it in perspective!

  1. Grrr. That stuff is irritating. Bobby has kind of become your dad's legacy. He is the handy man around the house, who isn't a professional fixer upper...but he can do tasks that you need done. Sweet.
