I woke up with my head heavy (it's around 3am) with too many dreams (including two of my cousins whom I haven't seen in years except funerals) and with a small head cold. Hate being sick at all. Don't want to ruin the weekend, my time with Todd.
Adam was so moody today. Dropped Bailey off at the groomer, went to see Daddy after Adam saw a Butler truck and said "Daddy truck...Daddy home?" What he calls the yard. Ended up grabbing Daddy and getting some Tim Horton's....=Adam "TIM BITS!!" as we ordered....dropped Daddy off and went up to Babies R Us where Adam was so good in the basket of the cart but had a HUGE meltdown when he saw a dinosaur he couldn't have. The summer stuff is out...clothes shopping for Abbey is a dangerous pass time for me...there are too many cute outfits for little girls....!
On the way home, as we were headed to get Bailey back, Abbey started to almost fall asleep, her head on the side of her seat. Adam was nice enough to start pulling her hair. sigh. At least he also held her hand. Bailey kept her awake when she got into the car and then she was awake and it took her too long to actually fall asleep when we got home.
I put Adam in, judging by the amount of meltdowns he had that he might actually sleep. Wrong. Instead, he went number 2 and said number 2 got out of his pants just a little, creating gross yucky mess...one of the worst of all my Mommy days. To his credit, he called my name for awhile, but I thought he was just trying to get out of bed....
Ordered a pizza tonight that got here in less than a half hour from Cam's which is a new record. We're probably flagged after the last time last month when Todd texted the owner after it took an hour and a half and was cold. There's probably an asshole flag on us hahahah
Been trying to prepare for two of my teaching exams on the 18th. Scared of the content exam, which many people fail the first time. Gives me a huge knot in my stomach. I have a weird zit in the middle of my throat, maybe I'll blame it on that.
Maybe now I've uncluttered my head a little and I can go back to sleep.
Abbey will be two in TWO WEEKS. Decided to have a party for her ...she LOVED that stupid bouncy slide more than anyone...My baby girl.
.....and in THREE WEEKS we go to NYC...excited to see the lights of Times Square and my first Broadway musical!!! And mmmm Carlo's bakery...what can I say? I'm a reality TV geek.

I think you will feel relief when these exams are over. I think they are weighing heavily on your mind. Other things too. But, the anxiety comes and goes in phases I'm sure. Sleep when you can. It is medicine.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a very busy day- no wonder you are having trouble sleeping! What musical are you going to see on Broadway???
