Week Two Winding Down

Abbey is doing better each day at school.  This was her third day.  She cried for about 45 minutes this morning and didn't start again until 1pm, an hour before pick up time.  She ate for the first time...three helpings of pasta!  She did however make things VERY hard this morning as I had to take her with me to take Adam to school.  She did OK on Tuesday, but today would have been hard if Abbey behavior bothered me anymore haha.  She yelled all the way to his classroom and all the way out.  She was anxious about getting to school...she both wanted to go there and NOT go there.  Hopefully she'll stop this once she figures things out.  Starting next week, I'll be dragging Ellie with us, too....  These last two weeks, Bobby has been coming by and helping, which has really helped with the transition.  Next week, he is coming Tuesday and Thursday morning to stay with Ellie until Abbey stops having a hard time with me leaving her at school.  Time changes during the school year.  Days are slower and faster.  I certainly have to get up earlier...right now, Adam often comes in with me after Todd leaves and plays games in bed next to me.  I actually hate the thought of giving up that time....  This morning he came in at 6:50 and I planned on getting up at seven...but dozed off until 7:15am....  NOT good for getting things done!  Next week, when I have to bring Ellie, I will need every minute.  Thank God she is so easy going (so far!).

And after spending time on his bed for being naughty on Tuesday, Adam has been doing much better.  Seems he made friends with Toby, who I actually kind of thought he might as he is the wild child.  And Adam just loved Nicholas for being the same thing!
