Sick Princess

Poor Abbey is really sick.  Adam was sick first, on Thursday and on Friday, Abbey had an epic meltdown in the bank and I knew she was headed for the same thing.  Here it is Monday and I thought she was getting better all day.  But the poor kid started crying 15 minutes after she was in bed, having thrown up all over.  We immediately sprung to action, with Daddy cleaning up his little girl and me getting all her stuff out of the bed and in the washer.

Her favorite things got hit, but her beloved Rapunzel Barbie didn't.  I gave it to her to hold and it got hit the next round.  She was sick and passed out on my lap until shortly before midnight, when she started yelling.  I knew she wanted her bed.  She was half asleep and wanted the comfort of her tent, I think,

Meanwhile, Todd had scrubbed Rapunzel and her dress, even taking the care to comb out her hair and wash it.  Daddy love big time.

I hated putting her in her room as she has a fever and I'm reluctant to fall asleep in case she needs me.  I have her door open and will sit in the living room....I know kids get sick all the time, but I can't help it...the high fever scares me.
