Better Later than Never....Christmas 2011 Part 2

I never wrote about the second half of Christmas.  It's been hanging out there in the back of my mind and not it's five months later!  Time has a different realm since I had kids.  It speeds everything up.  That first picture is tired Daddy taking an afternoon nap with Bailey. He was pretty tired and needed some energy.  And here's Uncle Bobby resting, too.
After bath, Abbey couldn't get enough of sitting in her shopping cart.  Everything is an athletic activity for her!
Dinner!  Ham...I can't remember everything I made, to be honest.  Mac and cheese, green bean casserole at Bobby's request.  Every year, I get a little bit better and do something a bit more hostessy.  By the time the kids are school age, I hope to have it down pat.  They weren't really interested in much.
So mid-morning, Adam discovered (finally) the THRILL of opening gifts.  He couldn't get enough, and got into trouble all day for opening up Abbey's!
After dinner, Uncle Bobby headed home and we got ready to go over to the Butler gathering at Uncle Chuckie's and Aunt Missie's.  Adam is giving me the "sick of your camera Mom" look.  Isn't he handsome all dressed up?  He had gathered his three imaginex toys he got as gifts from different people in one of the boxes.  He was really into the boxes his toys come in.  He still has this box, the rest got trashed along the way.  He still loves his Triceratops....aka "Two-Toppy".
Our niece Jillian and her husband Danny.  No kids...horse fanatics!  They asked Adam if he wanted to see the horses and he was OFF.  He actually almost left without us until he came back for his coat.  Todd took him down at the end of the party.  They live behind Chuckie and Missie.
Chuckie, Colin's girlfriend Becky, Danny & Jill and Todd's brother Tommy.
Abbey look adorable but I did not get a great picture of her.  She was wild all night, running in circles and I was so tired.
Adam was pretty entranced with the antique horse pieces they had on this table.  Bad picture, but worth noting because that's what he did!
Don't forget, it's Todd's birthday, too!  Little Abbey grinning at her Daddy.  Right below that is a picture that is pretty odd...most of my pictures were off that night with the lighting...this was kind of a cool little shot.
Adam and Abbey sharing cake.
And Abbey LOVED it!
It was a very nice ending to a nice holiday.  Exciting to see how the kids got into it.  The next day, Bethany stopped by with her kids.  Her she is with Devin and Brianna who are growing up FAST!  Devin is being a bit of ham.
Pretty Bri with her Mama (sorry, Beth, I didn't get a shot with you smiling).
Adam goes nuts to play with Devin.  Poor kid is getting older and not so into the rough housing.
And Abbey just loves Bri.  Still in that shopping cart!
