Jackie's Wedding Shower/May 21, 2011

Jackie's mom is her maid of honor, which I love (My Dad was my Man of Honor) and was throwing the shower. I offered to help her, which she later shared with me she wasn't sure what the heck to do it had been like 30 years since she had helped put one together. It was at Canale's, which Jackie loves. As we were setting up, you couldn't help but see where Jackie gets her flare. I had to take shots of everyone for the scrapbook I'm doing and NO I did NOT tell her to pose like that!! OK, it was an appetizer shower but the food was better than even usual! Sooo good....but I do have to work on my food shots. See how Jackie treats her mother? Q and Maddie together again; they are kind of like peas and carrots. I actually don't mind this picture of me... We played a game where everyone wrote down a memory of Jackie and she had to guess who wrote it... Cutting the cake that one of Brian's relatives made and brought all the way to Oswego. The chocolate half was pretty good.... Basket for cards. OK, when I went shopping with Mrs. C. I saw this parasol and had to have it. It matched the color scheme and it was just cool.... we added the flowers. Oh yeah, look at the flowers on the basket. I had to use Super Glue to get them to stay but in the process I actually SUPER GLUED my fingers together! Yeah, Jackie, I love you that much! Yeah, the wings were so good I convinced Todd to order them the next day. This is why I'm not a skinny girl!! In our drinking days, we did more than this with our tongues hahaha Aren't we just the hottest brunettes ever ;0? Love this picture of Jackie...she is beautiful. I had Man in the Moon candies make these as the favor. Tammy had made pops at my baby shower and it was such a nice idea and Jackie LOVES their dark chocolate, so I thought it would be nice. They turned out well....this is a shot of a dark chocolate one that I promptly ate after. I had half made in milk chocolate, too. The Thank You cards were added the day before at my house...Mrs. C, Brian's mom and aunt all come over and put those on and got things ready for the party. Adam was sleeping but Abbey walked around handing things out from a basket, kind of cute! It was fun to work on and I can't WAIT to see the wedding.... I am VERY happy for my good friend Jackie...she deserves everything she's got coming ;) Love you!! XXOO
