All weekend long, I've been thinking to myself my kids are doing so many cute things I need to write it on the blog. And already, the memories have started to slip away...the whole reason I started writing this thing!
Yesterday morning Todd went to work. I put Abbey in for her nap and Adam, who is perfectly capable of opening doors now, decided he wanted to go right back in there and talk to her. I stopped him and he sat down to finish his dinosaur movie and I went into to the kitchen to do the dishes. A little while later, he came to get me and whispered Abb-ey in an Adam whisper. I knew he must have been back in her room. I looked in and somehow....and this is a miracle...she was still sleeping...and let me tell you why this is a miracle. Adam had put everything he had in there with her. It was sweet, really. His ball, the drum sticks he's been hoarding, a bunch of her babies and even his monkey blanket which he never shares! She was curled up around the stuff. I was almost worried he had knocked her unconscious or something. And when she woke up and I got her, I was even more amazed...he had even put a piece of his coveted snack...banana bread in there. I had to change the sheets. It was too, too cute :)

Oh, what a nice little surprise for sissy and mommy. Glad it wasn't a bread with any berries. That would've been fun to clean.
