Bathroom Update

Last Thursday, the sheet rock was going up. View from Secret Bathroom door to the left... This is the right hand corner from that doorway, where I took the photo in the last entry with the large planks. Notice the blue sheet rock...it is mold resistant and on almost the whole bathroom except one wall which had to be covered in thinner material. So I snuck in a view from the main door...that's Kevin on the ladder and you can see the frame work for the wall that separate the toilet from the new tub. The sheet rock is up and Kevin and his dad has been doing all the finish work on it since then...it requires a couple coats of patching and sanding. He has also re-routed the plumbing and the heat vent and wired for new lighting over the new sink area and laundry areas. Todd and I spent a lot of time trying to figure out the vanity/linen closet issue. We just couldn't find anything we needed, so Burke's is going to order something for us. We will match it with the cabinets in the laundry area, too. Today the floor is going in....!
