Class Party
On Friday night Abbey went to her first classmate party. A pool party and sleep over. I was a bit shocked at the sleepover part.... I mean who lets their 5 year olds stay overnight at a hotel with strangers? I wasn't the only one. Only one kid from school stayed over 😂. anyhow Abbey was excited and picked a party dress.
Which she quickly shed and got in the pool upon arrival. They had a blast and she was even jumping in.
Two hours and she was out, stalking the sweets table. She had fun and it was a good chance to see her social skills. She struggles a bit still, saying the wrong thing and repeating herself, but she's not excluded. It was nice to see her have fun and let loose.

There is a tubing hill not far from where you live and they do parties!! They make their own snow during years like this. But, it's a big hill. Best for kids of a certain age.
ReplyDeleteI had a pool party when I was a kid, at my grandpa's house. He build a big crazy room around a pool and heated it with a stove. Seriously. LOL.
