Two Ager

Gone is my sweet little laid back princess.  Now I have a two age.   Runs. off, talks back and cries if she doesn't get her way.   She loves the riding toys outside Abbey's gymnastics. And it's not easy to get her off.
And she wants to be like big brother and sister. She does NOT want help.
Sometines she'll take help from Adam but not on this.
She loves her little people, especially the princesses.
And Sometines, just Sometines, she'll give me a kiss when I ask.
She's had such a growth spurt this summer she's not wearing ANY size 2 really.  My little pixie.

Juwonio

Abbey's last day of summer pre-k was Friday.  Six weeks and three days a week. Juwonio is a world away from Catholic school. Lots of play based learning including 'trike town' and water slide days.   She grew attached to the guniea pigs and one of the teachers, Daniel.
She requested an Inside Out dress for her last day and accessorized with an Up necklace and cherry shoes.  Usually, it's tees and shorts there.  She was struggling with it being over.
When I picked her up, she wasn't feeling well but still wanted to do our last day of school ice cream tradition.  She didn't even eat it, poor kid.
Ellie did though.  HA.
It was a good experience for Abbey. She met most if her summer IEP goals. Her biggest issue is still appropriate peer interaction.  I'm glad she went, but glad we kept her in Catholic school for the year as it prepared her for how kindergarten will be.  She's nervous about kindergarten.  She'll be OK because she never, ever gives up.  That's how I know.

New Castle Wall

Even before we moved in, Todd started trying to convince me that the crumbling brick wall should be covered in stone like a 'castle wall'.  I resisted at first, not wanted to destroy an original detail.  But the more we worked on things, the mess I felt it was original and the more photos he showed me, the more I liked the stone.  So the process has begun.
