We finally took them. They are almost 7 months old. They did better than I expected. They got upset when the other got shots. Anna didn't puke in the way there.
Anna waiting for Elsa to be brought back. Vet is hard for me because I have a hard tine discerning what they need and what they are trying to sell me. Anna did puke in the crate on the way bsck. Her whole back side covered. Was pretty gross. Clean bill of health and shots down. Another appointment finally done. With all the kids, my health issues and the dogs I'm starting to feel behind on staying up on appointments.

Mother's Day Events
I got up and we decided to drive by IHOP. By the the time I got the kids ready, it was noon. Everything looked packed. I said if we were in Oswego, I'd say let's got to Rudy's. He said let's.
I waited about 40 minutes inside while Todd had the kids by the water outside.
I asked for a pic of me with with the three

Kids. This may be the only one. We drive out to Pulaski to look at a vehicle he's been eyeing. Then stopped at carvel in Dewiit to grab cooler treats for dinner.
It was a nice day. Had I known we were going to the lake I would've dressed the girls like this for pictures.
Adam wanted in, too.
Another time ;)

Just Another Monday
Yesterday, Abbey was dressed for y for yellow. She asked me to take her picture and this is the look I got.
We had to drive to Oz to meet with the realtor. On our way out of the school, Ellie was fascinated with the janitor putting the chairs on table. Absolute fascination. I love this on her. We met my friend Sarah , a mom from Trinity for coffee. She suggested McDonald's for E, who suckered her into to taking her down the slide a few times Then I got suckered into it. Somehow I fit. We then met with the realtor at the old house. We are going to try for a decent price. We'll see. Hard neighborhood to sell.

Mother 's Day 2015
This is the best part. The moments of love for each other.
Seeing them grow as a family. Us as a family.
Despite the arguing, still looking out for each other.
And playing super Barbie versus the evil wizard.
Making sure the other is close by.

Saturday Nothing
I'm tired. I guess I can admit I stay up too late. But after all the kids ar finally asleep (9:30-10) what would be left if I didn't unwind for a bit or spend time with my a husband?
It suddenly got hot. We discussed going to the cottage this weekend but I don't know if it'll happen. Todd went to work miserable ...almost as miserable as he came home and he told the kids to pick up sticks in the yard while he was gone so he could mow the lawn. He's very focused on getting it under control since Ellie got bitten by a tick. I need to do stuff. Mom stuff. I gave the older kids fruit and Mickey Mouse and put the dogs out. I just wanted to lay down for a few minutes as Ellie appears to be sleeping in but instead, I'm on my IPad. Todd told me to research and buy a new Mac. Ugh they are expensive! Idea is to buy one that I can really use to edit my pictures with. I don't know how high up the ladder I need to go cost wise to accomplish that.
Yesterday morning I went to yuppie Talbots. I brought Ellie. I was the only one under 50 in there. Well, besides Ellie. She was the life of that party, rearranging their racks and accidentally pulling down a poster. I feel so dowdy all the time, so I decided to try on a bunch of stuff. Pants and shorts still are hard as they are built for women with weight in their backside and legs, not gut. I did find a dress and a pants and linen shirt combo that I hope aren't too old lady. Expensive. Very well made Like real clothes instead of my holey Old Navy collection of black tees.
Thursday night was so nice to have a night out with Tammy. Was supposed to be to thank her, but I needed it. Nice to finally try The Cheesecake Factory, nice to be out at night. Nice to be with someone who just listens, no matter how trivial it really is.
To more is Mother's Day. I told Todd I just wanted to relax but I'm getting the computer so not sure that'll happen. Ha.

Ethan Potter is 6
The Potters are Terry's family. Hard to believe he's been gone well over three years. Todd still misses him awful. We see his kids and grabdkids six tines a year. For our kids birthdays and his three grabdkids. They were Todd's family for many years and I know he struggles because they are a reminder of the one friend he truly loved.
Ethan is a few months younger than Adam and had a Chuck E. Cheese party end of March. Kids always love it there. The birthday kid gets to go in this tube and catch things. Adam really wanted to do it, too.
He is so into ice hockey the talented Aunt Kari made him a Zamboni cake. Funny kid though he did not want to wear his cape.
My kids wanted those cupcakes.
He's grown up so much. Time is flying.

By the way, all parents leave Chuck E Hell feeling hit by a Mack truck. But, kids sure love it.

This Kid
Adam is both doing well and struggling in school. Let's say his struggle isn't what I exoected. His ability to do work is fine but he gets naughty at school. His language is so vastly improved he has one more year of speech and he's done. But he will act out to impress the kids or not do his work. We had to instute a green/grey/red day system which has helped a lot. He's still trying to find his way socially but he's different. Like us. Teaching him to be proud of that and not care if other people like him.
He has such a heart. Ellie was dressed as Belle and Adam was her prince. He adores her. He feels deeply for his age. Analyzes his peers already. Sound familar? I colored him a picture a couple of weeks ago and he treats it like gold.
He's a night owl. Stays up too late and hard to get him to relax! He's so into Avengers now but still loves Star Wars. This was nine at night!
We went to South Carolina for a weekend in April for our nephew Travis' wedding. Peyton is two months older than Adam... His second cousin. Adam was kind of bossing him around which we had to giggle a but because as very young toddlers it was the opposite.
He so wants to be like his Daddy. I love this kid and his big heart.

Spring Fever
Adam went to the doctor last week and came home without a cast. Healed in less than a month. To be young. Abbey has been begging for a Lightning McQueen dress for months. Finally got one. She was THRILLED.
End of last week and Ellie ripped off her coat and ran in the sun outside Abbey's school. She had a tick over the weekend. It looked like a scab but I Knew. I got it out after holding her down screaming for 20 minutes. Scary.
And she's had a cold. Doo seems to help. She loves the wind here and the tulips.

And Abbey and her Wreck-it Ralph dres. A lot of meetings about Abbey lately to make sure things go well for her. Sigh.
